Magik Black is a largely instrumental post-black band out of Russia...which I argue just makes it post-metal/post-rock. Regardless, this band is easily recommendable to fans of Deafheaven, Numenorean, and Ghost Bath. They possess the same ethereal, atmospheric guitarwork, shoegaze aesthetic, and occasional technical flair. If you dig that style, especially if you're not really a fan of the blackened Howard Dean vocals, this is a really solid EP.
