The Great Lie was formed on Long Island, NY by vocalist Kerry Merkle and guitarist Gerry Giacalone (Not Saved, Splinterface). The band’s current lineup was secured when drummer John LaFata (Madball, Sheer Terror, Mind Over Matter, Deathcycle, Neglect) recruited former Mind Over Matter bassist, Scott Martin, and guitarist Mike Scarola."
