Tombs is a New York black metal group with a touch of hardcore in their sound as well. This latest EP was recorded at Applehead Studios with renowned producer Sanford Parker (Minsk, Twilight, Yob). Overall, this is an aggressive punch to the throat with some more ambient and experimental moments mixed throughout. The vocal approach is similar to that of Vattnet Viskar in its tone and use of distortion. If you were wanting something dark and heavy, but with not too much of a time commitment, I'd say you've landed on the perfect release of the week. Check it out below.
