"Established by Marco Bruder in 2014, WELTFREMD is an ever-evolving studio project with many influences, but with a clear focus on modern Doom Metal. On two previously released EPs, songs that reach the ten-minute-mark and cover different genres, such as Doom and Black Metal, as well as Ambient and classical music, WELTFREMD from Eisenach, Germany is telling stories of emotional and oppressive character.
The third EP "Drei" keeps this direction and pushes the boundaries even further to create beautiful blackness and disgusting grace. Low tuned guitars, thundering drums, but on the other hand an acoustic piano, a cello, as well as some electronic instruments complement the sound of "Drei" as the piece of art it should be."
